LADWP – LADWP Dewatering System Design, Backwash Reclamation Ponds, Van Norman Complex

ProjectLine provided electrical and controls design for dewatering wells installed to improve capacity of backwash ponds at the Van Norman Complex. ProjectLine was subconsultant to Kleinfelder for the project, which included six dewatering wells, each with a dewatering pump. ProjectLine subsequently prepared detailed drawings for the control panel, and coordinated with a local panel shop for fabrication and testing of the panel. Construction of the project was completed in 2015, and LADWP is currently working on adding more wells to the system.
