Orange County Sanitation District (OCSD) – Data Center HVAC Upgrades for Plant 2 Control Center

ProjectLine designed HVAC upgrades for OCSD’s Plant 2 Control Center Server Room, including replacement air conditioning (AC) equipment, and installation of air curtains and added ductwork to create cold and hot aisles within the Server Room to improve cooling system performance. An existing 5-ton capacity AC system was replaced with two new 6-ton In-Row AC units, together with new outdoor air-cooled condensing units. Air curtains were designed with electronic links to drop in the event of fire detection, so as not to impede operation of an existing FM-200 fire suppression system.
