Reseda Skate Facility Design

ProjectLine provided MEP design and construction-phase engineering services for the City of Los Angeles’ indoor ice skating facility in Reseda. The facility includes a unique sports lighting design to support professional-level hockey practice play, with 100 fc lighting at ice level. The facility includes a large dehumidification system to prevent condensation problems, and air quality monitoring systems (CO and O2) that allows reducing outside air while ensuring healthy air quality. The facility also includes indoor locker and restroom facilities, an outdoor roller park, and a stormwater collection and pumping system. ProjectLine also provided follow-on CS-phase services as subconsultant to Brooks-Scarpa Architects for the project. The team also included Stantec, who provided design of the ice equipment (chillers, cooling tower and cold floor system).
