Site Security Improvement Designs

ProjectLine provided electrical and controls designs for site security improvements at over 35 water infrastructure sites in Southern California. Designs included replacement of over 120 obsolete analog cameras, and addition of over 40 cameras, with digital cameras and analytics. Designs also included radar, ground and fence shaker detection, security lighting, intercom and speakers, and access control system upgrades. Since most of the sites are unmanned, sites are networked to regional security center with 24×7 monitoring. Security system analytics enhance monitoring, with automation of pan-tilt-zoom cameras based on radar detection, license plate readers, and automated alerts based on programmed criteria. ProjectLine teamed with other engineering firms that led the projects and provided security and networking equipment expertise.
